By Afghans, for Afghans.
Bright Afghan (Verein für Afghanistan-Förderung e.V.) was founded in 1979 by Afghan exiles in Bonn — as a response to the Soviet invasion and the suffering of the civilian population.
Aid that truly arrives.
We believe that sustainable change begins where people gain access to education, healthcare, and safe infrastructure.
Our projects are implemented directly on the ground by Afghan partners — without detours, without bloated administration. Every donated euro is earmarked for the work.
What drives us: the conviction that Afghanistan is more than headlines. It is a country full of potential that deserves support — not pity.
